Shopify Cancellation Management

Overview

Katapult allows its merchants to cancel orders from the Shopify admin portal.

Before getting started

Price Adjustments

Katapult does not allow for price adjustments to be made from the Shopify admin portal. To make a price adjustment to an order, reach out to Katapult customer service at 833-KATAPULT (833-528-2785).

Please keep in mind that in order for the cancellation to process successfully for a full cancellation you will need to refund the entire value of the product(s) at the time of cancellation itself and cannot withhold any funds from the customer.

Full Cancellation/ Refund
Step 1. Login to your Shopify Admin Portal go to > Orders
Step 2. Find the order you want to cancel
Step 3. Select > More Actions > Cancel
Step 4. Make sure the Refund option is selected to process the refund at the time of cancellation itself.
Step 5. Complete cancellation by select the > Cancel Button

Refund amount must match the original order value. Please keep in mind that the refund later option is not supported by katapult and refund must be processed at the time of order cancellation.

Partial Cancellation/ Refund
Step 1. Login to your Shopify Admin Portal go to > Orders
Step 2. Find the order you want to adjust
Step 3. Select > Refund
Step 4. Verify the items being refunded and quantity
Step 5. Select > Refund Button

Refund amount must match the original value of the item on the Katapult lease.
